Beauty Review Monday: NYX Butter Lipstick

Hello everyone I went to Ulta to see the NYX Butter Lipstick for myself and to pick up some of the colors.  The Ulta I went to didn't have much colors available most of them were testers, but I was able to pick up 4 out of 22 colors of the lipstick. The colors of the lipstick consist of pink, nudes, coral, mauves, a couple of reds and purples.

 The colors I picked up were :

Razzle

Lollies

Fireball

Taffy

My first impression on these lipstick is I fell in love with them instantly.  The packaging sold me, I love how the outside of the packaging matched the color of the lipstick.  I wish they had every single color available because I would've purchased them all.

When I swatched the lipsticks at Ulta, the texture felt smooth, creamy, and buttery at the same time if that makes any sense.  It glides on as a semi-gloss/satin finsh, and the colors are very pigmented.  This lipstick won't dry out your lips after wearing it unlike other lip products would. 

Overall I am completely happy and obsessed with the NYX Butter Lipstick and I would definitely be purchasing more of the other colors. This is probably going to be my favorite and go to lipstick for the spring and summer maybe even for the rest of the year.
